It Takes A Village – Maternal Health Expo
Maternal Health Expo held once a year usually one Saturday in April. The expo is aimed at bringing together hospital representatives, managed care organizations, and organizations that work with women and children.
Maternal Health Table Talks
Community events usually held twice a year. The community is invited out to take part in discussions and ask questions related to Maternal Health.
Community Pop-Up Events
At different times throughout the year, It Takes a Village Maternal Health Expo holds smaller pop up events targeted toward providing Maternal Health information to the community.
Promoting the mothers’ life, health, and well-being
It Takes A Village – Maternal Health Expo, Inc. exists to promote the mothers’ life, health, and well-being so that they do not have to die to bring forth life but live a full and productive life caring for themselves and their children. To that end, through our organization’s products, services, and resources, we provide a Village to support maternal families to advocate for themselves and others when entering the maternal health world.
Serving through outreach
The focus for our outreach is to bring awareness to the issues related to maternal health including Maternal Mortality/Morbidity and Infant Mortality
